Over The Last Few (?) Weeks...

1. ALL HAIL THE GRANNIES!


Yey! Speech Pathology Batch 2010 (a.k.a. Us) won the annual College of Allied Medical Professions Talent Show! (Theme: "One goal, one CAMP." RETRO.) Loads of thanks to these awesome Austin Powers-worthy grannies. Haha! Honestly guys, kinabag na ako katatawa senyo. :D


2. OH YEAH. I'M SOMEWHERE AROUND ER.. THAT SIDE.


Yesterday, Arven treated me to a Big Dome seat for the Skechers Street Dance Battle and naturally, in a friend's words, i was deliriously happy. Smile like a lunatic. Smile like a lunatic. Smile like a lunatic.

26 schools (13 each from the high school and college categories) competed for the--in Nancy Castiglione's (i hope I spelled that right) tinnier-than-expected voice--bragging rights of being the winners of the 'biggest dance competition in the country.' Gulay, the high school contenders were UBER GOOD, i was so sure they made Lastikman cower in shame. Oh, and me too, given the fact that my dancing makes my own parents cower in shame.

Xavier School won First Place in the High School Category--i can't remember the other winners--whilst in the College Category, UP Manila Indayog won third (yey yey yey), Mapua Makati, second (i was afraid they'd whisk away the Php100,000 check) and UP Diliman, first! Back-to-back champions! :D


3. TERIYAKI BOY KILLS..



..your (pocket and) will power. Or should I say, Teriyaki Boy doesn't, but Danielle my friend does. Gulay, she was following me around the Third Level of Robinson's Place Ermita, horns (index fingers) bobbing up and down the sides of her head. Of course I gave in. Ngrmpf. Honestly, Danielle should be in Marketing instead of Speech Pathology. Her convincing powers exceed those of desperate encyclopedia salesmen. And she doesn't even have to exert effort.

Then again, maybe it's just Teriyaki Boy's pull. Haha.:D Danielle my friend, I FELT SO ROBBED. Haha, joke! But hey, it was such a great day! Looking forward to more culinary conquests with you.:D

Speaking of culinary conquests, Breadtalk kills too. Bigtime.

I DIED TODAY. Bought two books from Powerbooks Robinson's Place Ermita! Felt financially-dead, mentally-drained (from choosing); but nonetheless blissful and very much satisfied. Hehe.

MEET HUMPTY DUMPTY.

Humpty Dumpty's this impossibly amusing creature
with a strong liking for egg
--sunny side-up, scrambled, boiled, whatever.
Recent events however show a decline in
his egg-dining habit.
WHAT HAS BROUGHT ABOUT THIS MYSTERIOUS OCCURENCE?
HAS HE SHUNNED EGG FOR LIFE? SUSPECTING CANNIBALISM?
SUFFERING FROM WITHDRAWAL SYNDROME?!

While pondering on the aforementioned queries I chanced upon this photo:





APPARENTLY, HUMPTY DUMPTY'S ANEMIC; AND HAVING BEFRIENDED B1 AND B2 (HENCE, THE 'PYJAMAS'), HE NOW THINKS BANANAS ARE BETTER FOR HIS CONDITION WHEN IN FACT, EGG WILL DO HIM MORE GOOD!

This is bad. This is really, really bad.
